From the exhibition text: Artist Gill Baldwin brings ’nature’ indoors at OMI. The branches of our back garden are placed in her rotating artwork - Rolling Landscapes - where they will undergo a process of change as the plants slowly dry. Gill is fascinated by the way nature goes its own way in the city, while humans try to control it. In her work, she playfully sets in motion this contradiction between the malleability and unruliness of nature.
