CCTV Mother (2018) is a short performative experimental film made from using the CCTV footage from a live open source CCTV camera surveilling Dam Square found at https://webcam.nl/amsterdam/. Using the notion as machine as director, the film cuts are not edited but made by pre-existing camera movement or machinic cinematography. A reversed narrative of the camera as the all seeing eye or watchful mother is constructed as the voice thanks the camera for watching over the subject during different periods of her life.
